Case Studies
A Small Business
This small storefront knew just how to create a successful business – but no idea how to run one and no money for payroll. The solution: contract administration. We found the best location, bargained for the best lease, found the lowest priced office equipment leases, incorporated, contracted their insurance and accounting services, set up their bank account, got them started with credit cards, set up and kept their books and (eventually) their payroll. After a successful run as a storefront, the principal transitioned the business to a consultancy. We continued doing the company’s administration including tax records, payroll, bid proposals, client presentations and research for the entire 12 years of its existence.
A Fortune 100 Company
Mergers had made a mess of this company’s processes, leaving executive and administrative assistants no simple means of finding the steps to performing crucial functions. We set up a SharePoint “website” that provided a central point of contact for sharing how-tos, best practices, mentoring and training requests. The results were seen in much more productive, trained administrators and higher morale.
A Sole Proprietor
A busy marketing professional with no time to keep up her contacts and deal with the details of business contracted for a few hours a month – just enough to get all those pesky administrative details like filing copyrights and updating contacts taken care of without breaking the company budget. The result? She loves it!
A Not-for-Profit
An out of state not-for-profit company was considering a complete reorganization. They needed to see a variety of possible org charts without creating unease within the company. The solution: they contracted with us to produce all the potential org charts and their ideas remained confidential until after they had met with their board and made their decisions.
