Blackberry Showing Wrong Time Zone
Your manager travels cross-country and calls to grouse at you for setting up meeting while she’s still at the airport. You know she has two hours until that meeting. What is she going on about?!? Her Blackberry is showing her home time zone, that’s what. When she gets home, confiscate the Blackberry.
Find “Settings.”
Choose “Date and Time”
Find the choice to set Blackberry time to “Blackberry” or “Network.”
In theory, this will fix it. If it doesn’t, have her turn it off and back on again, or pull the battery for a minute or so once she’s in her new time zone.
Now you just have to teach her how to set up a meeting in her home time zone and have it turn up right for everyone else…
